Kai D

Kai Delgado is a Filipinx American cultural organizer weaving community through ancestral farming, herbal healing, and music. Kai is the founder and organizer of Filipinx Food as Medicine, an earth-based education project that offers online and in person teachings about food, herbalism, and agriculture. Kai is based between New York City, the Philippines, and Berlin.

Whether their hands are in the soil or on the DJ mixer, Kai (a.k.a. Kai D) understands that re-attuning to the frequencies of the Earth can transform our lives in ways that are essential to our survival. The spirit of the Earth vibrates through the seeds we plant, the food we eat, the songs that make us move, the dances in our feet. They see their musical journey with house, soul, jazz, and R&B as a medium through which we can create spaces of belonging and inter-connection with our bodies and natural environment.
